"When I first began my yoga journey in 2011, it was all about the physical and mental benefits. But over time this connection has become so much more than that for me-it's brought an entirely new meaning to life!
After 5 years of dedicated practice and growth, I wanted to share this wonderful connection with others. This led me on the path towards completing my intensive 200hr teacher training in Suryalila Retreat Centre Spain through FLY (Frog Lotus Yoga) International's rigorous program January 2016 where we learned about creative flows. The founder's emphasis on alignment made it enjoyable at any level with its focus being safe practices to promote physical health through mindful movement
Vidya Jacqueline Heisel the founder has studied many styles including Iyengar Ashtanga Forrest Kundalini Yoga!
Continuing my journey, I trained in kids and family yoga with Rainbow Kids Yoga in June 2016.
I then was hooked and attended many pieces of training from then on.

I have attended many workshops and training for yoga, including advanced classes that focus on alignment-based practices, Yoga Philosophy, Facia Release Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, Breathwork/ Pranayama, and Meditation.
I recently finished a course in Yoga for Menopause with Yinstinct Yoga to learn more about how it can assist women during their transition into peri-menopause and menopausal years.
In my classes, I teach from the heart and encourage students to listen closely to their bodies signals. Students are given space in a safe environment where they can learn how to move at a pace that works best for them regardless of skill level or ability.
My unique style of teaching is a mix between holistic and traditional. I encourage students to listen and accept their bodies as they are meant for movement in order to move at an appropriate pace that works best for them no matter what level or ability.
I learned early on how important it was not only to be mindful but also to take care of both mental wellness while practicing physically challenging poses!
I am also a qualified holistic therapist with a Diploma in Reflexology, Reflexology for Menopause, Facial Reflexology, Fertility/ Maternity Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, and Integrated Energy Therapy Master-Instructor level. I am also a nail technician in Manicure/Pedicure, Gel Polish, and Tru-Dip Polish.
I offer yoga classes in studio/online and all these therapies in my own purpose-built Yoga studio and Therapy room I called Baskin Hub."
